About the role
Responsible for supporting the profitable and sustainable growth of Boston Scientific through the management of key strategic projects. Specific responsibilities may include: process improvements, technology or system enhancements, support service transitions & acquisitions, relationship management and change management.
Your responsibilities include:
- Directs multiple cross-functional development teams; leads business unit effectively; provides input to functional directors on team and team member performance.
- Defines and directs thesustaining activity; identifies, communicates, and manages business unit technical risk.
- Directs and trains key project management processes; develops and implements business unit plan; builds team ownership and commitment to project and business plans.
- Sponsors professional development of project/program managers.
- Actively leads and reviews SDP, policy, and practice improvements to drive functional excellence; influences cross-functional and cross-divisional systems effectiveness.
- Responsible for department-level communications, liaison between the business unit and the PIB; participates in phase and business reviews; reviews IBPs; defines and tracks key business unit metrics.
- Actively influences cross-functional collaboration.

- Assures that appropriate resources (personnel, tools, etc.) are maintained in order to assure Quality System compliance and adherence to the BSC Quality Policy.
- Establishes and promotes a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science/Technical, plus 9-12 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 6-8 years of experience leading a large team/organization
- Experience in the Medical Device Industry
- Desire English level C1+ 90-99%
