Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Lead efforts to migrate fraud screening capabilities from legacy systems to modern, optimized platforms, ensuring seamless transitions and enhanced fraud detection
- Defines and implements strategic plans for early-stage fraud screening solutions that help clients detect and mitigate risks
- Partners with engineering teams to design and deliver advanced fraud screening checkpoints that improve efficiency and reduce processing delays
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and execute migration roadmaps, ensuring minimal disruption and optimized fraud detection performance
- Identifies opportunities to enhance scalability, resiliency, and operational efficiency in fraud detection and payment processing platforms
- Incorporates client feedback and industry best practices to continuously refine fraud detection workflows and improve user experience
- Leverages data-driven insights to drive innovation in fraud prevention, aligning platform capabilities with client needs and emerging trends
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- Experience with large-scale system migrations and optimizations in a payments or financial services environment
- Strong ability to collaborating with engineering teams to translate technical requirements into scalable product solutions
- Exceptional communication skills to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders on strategic priorities
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated success in leveraging data insights to improve fraud detection capabilities and user outcomes
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder technical projects with competing priorities

- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
- Expertise in fraud screening technologies, including rule-based and machine learning models for risk management
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations related to fraud prevention and payment processing
- Proven ability to manage ambiguity and align technical and business priorities effectively
- Familiarity with trends in payment and fraud prevention technologies, including real-time fraud detection tools
