The Architecture Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models and plans within area of expertise. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.Responsibilities:
- Directly manages a team of Architects including: coaching/motivating staff; performance management; compensation decisions; and staff career development.
- Interfaces with the business/client in terms of defining the requirements of the effort as well as its applicable resources.
- Analyzes system / application architecture; ensures that architecture conforms to enterprise blueprints.
- Translates complex business problems into sound technical solutions.
- Exhibits in depth understanding of concepts and procedures within architecture and basic knowledge of those elements in other areas.
- Has in depth understanding of how area integrates within architecture and has basic commercial awareness.
- Shares responsibility for budget, policy formulation and planning.
- Requires evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated or novel situations; uses multiple sources of information.
- Impacts the area through delivery of end results and contributions to planning, finances/ budget formulation of policies.
- Persuades and influences others through communication and diplomacy skills; may communicate with external parties.

Qualifications:
- 5-8 years relevant experience

Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
