What you’ll achieve
As a Developer Experience (DevEx) DevOps Engineer, you will focus on improving the overall experience of developers within the Infrastructure Solutions organization. This role is multifaceted and includes several key responsibilities:
Tooling and Automation: Ensuring that developers have access to the best tools and automation processes. This includes maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines, build automation, and other development tools.
Workflow Optimization: Analyzing current developer workflows to identify friction points and areas for improvement. This involves mapping workflows and developing strategies to streamline processes.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to developers on best practices and new tools or processes.
You will:
Develop plans for improving developer experience across different time horizons:
Address current pain points and quick wins. Implement medium-term strategies to enhance workflows and tools. Plan for long-term improvements and innovations to sustain and advance developer productivity.
KPI Analysis:
Developer Happiness Measurement:Create a consistent way to measure developer happiness through:
Discussion-based feedback loops to gather insights and sentiments.
: Happiness scores at the end of sprints or releases to track satisfaction levels.
Developer Advocacy:They act as advocates for developers, ensuring their needs are met and their work environment is optimized for productivity and satisfaction
Essential Requirements
+ years of experience in roles focused on developer experience, standardizing workflows, DevOps, or SDLC process improvement
Experience implementing
Scrum at Scalemethodologies in large-scale, enterprise engineering organizations is amust
Strong analytical skills with the ability to map, standardize and optimize processes.
Process Efficiency Certifications: Kanban, Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
