Job Summary:

As a Senior Consultant in the Data and Analytics team with a specialization in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SQL, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining robust data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) solutions. Your expertise will help our clients optimize their data infrastructure and ensure the integrity and accessibility of their data.

Your key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS to integrate data from various sources into a cohesive data warehouse environment.
• Create complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support data transformation, aggregation, and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Optimize and troubleshoot existing SSIS packages and SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Implement data quality checks and balances to ensure the accuracy and consistency of data.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members in best practices for SSIS and SQL development.
• Manage data-related projects, including planning, scheduling, and ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
• Document ETL processes, data models, and other technical specifications for future reference and compliance purposes.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 3- 8 years of industry experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience with SQL Server, including SSIS and T-SQL.
• Strong understanding of database design principles, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes and SQL code.
• Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft SQL Server certification or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with other ETL tools and data integration platforms.
• Experience with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Python or C#.
• Prior consulting experience, with a track record of delivering data solutions across various industries.
