Your impact
Radiation Health Physicistto support projects for primarily our Navy and uranium mining restoration clients, though our portfolio is broad, and many other clients and projects are included.
It is expected that field tasks would be required and may include performing and/or leading teams during surveys and assessments. Additionally, characterizing radiological materials in various matrices, implementing radiation safety practices, maintaining radiation protection programs, and regulatory compliance during project activities.
Here's what you'll need
- B.S. degree in Radiation Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Environmental Studies, or other Science related degree.
- Experience with environmental site assessments and remediation including radiological survey and sampling experience.
- Experience in writing radiological work plans, survey reports, and related program documents.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- M.S. in Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, or related field.
- 5 Years Professional Health Physics Experience.
- Certification in Health Physics and/or RRPT.
- Experience with CERCLA.
- Experience with uranium mining or Navy investigations or closures.
- Project management experience.
- Regulatory compliance and reporting experience.
- Radiation shielding design expertise.
- Expertise in implementing MARSSIM Final Status Surveys.
