Job responsibilities
- Becomes part of management team in all aspects of food standards and quality across all areas during all stages of food preparation and production.
- Works with the Kitchen team in creating and developing new menus and concepts.
- Looks constantly for the ways to elevate customer experience.
- Ensures that all dishes are prepared, cooked, and always served to the highest standard in line with menu specifications.
- Ensures good Health & Safety and food hygiene practices are always followed.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience of a fast paced, high standards driven, working kitchen environment in a Sous chef/Senior Sous chef position. Business minded with the ability to maintain and control financial and ordering procedures.
- Strong team player with an ability to pull together multiple partners in a productive, team environment. Conscious of labour requirements and rotas.
- Ability to motivate themselves and others around them.
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and operate in a changeable environment.
