Mechanical R&D Engineering Graduate (23 Months)

Responsible for providing mechanical or electrical engineering support (Physics Major also considered) in the creation and the development of new medical device products.

Responsibilities

  • Researches, develops, designs, and evaluates mechanical and electro-mechanical materials, components, assemblies, processes and/or equipment.
  • Develop test systems, verify and develop Test Methods.
  • Conducts feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality.
  • Develops new concepts from initial design to market release.
  • Directs support personnel and coordinates project activities.
  • Write and submit intellectual property (patents).
  • Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development.
  • Investigates and evaluates existing technologies.
  • Reviews or coordinates vendor activities to support development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Hons Degree in a Technical Discipline Mechanical, Electrical or Physics
  • Relevant work experience/ co-op programme completed.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland
  • Communication Skills
  • The successful candidate must be a self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative, while possessing strong team player characteristics.
