Responsibilities:

The Quartz Platform team is now starting a core refresh of the platform to modernize with capabilities required to meet our user’s future needs. We are looking to add an experienced software engineers with solid CS knowledge and proof of delivery on at least one large project in a relevant area (in a PhD or prior job). This person needs to be able to guide and independently implement one part of a complex project, while collaborating effectively with the owners of the other parts.

• Python

• Extending IDE’s

• Managing large GIT repositories

• Comfortable with modifying python’s importlib

• Able to help balance the needs of a developer with the needs of a large organizations with security & compliance.

Skills that will help:

• Creating/updating code review systems

• API use with JIRA/Jenkins and other SDLC tools

• Machine learning integration into IDE’s

• Can speak to security implications
