Job Description
The Market Access Manager will be responsible for strategy development, health economic analyses and preparation of reimbursement dossiers to achieve the general use and public fundingfor pharmaceutical portfolio in Finland.
The Market Access Manager will report to the External Affairs Lead.
Primary activities and Key Responsibilities
- Mapping of external payer landscape
- Support development of business case and price/tender request for price action together with Tender Manager
- Works closely with Access, Commercial, Medical, Policy and Finance to develop a clear stakeholder strategy and engagement plan focused on prioritized products
- Represents company with key external partners and develops an externalization plan with external partners to include a compliant and sustainable access management.
- Collaboration with Value Lead and Tender manager to identify key customer problems and needs and develop tailored value-based solutions to help shape access and pricing specifications and content for all priority/must-win submissions.
- Partners with and/or directly engages with external customers in the pre-submission phase to understand customer needs, deliver value-based proposition to help shape access specifications
- Responsible for aligning with finance and BU teams on forecast assumptions and budgeting
- Bi-weekly meeting with External Affairs Lead on pricing and access maters
- Monthly meetings with BU teams to ensure strong alignment
- Monthly meeting with Finance, commercial leads and supply chain on pricing and access actions
- Work cross-organizationally internally
- Have customer contact, not least with clinical people, trendsetters and "Key opinion leaders" in relevant therapy areas.

Functional skills:
Education, Background & Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working at market access.
- Experience of access strategies and pricing management
- Demonstrated competency in analytics and interest in building financial / commercial acumen.
- Good negotiation skills and demonstrated ability to foster teamwork and coordinate and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experienced or burning interest in external alliance management.
- Strong influencing skills
- Fluency in written and oral English / Finnish; excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver under pressure, working on own and as part of a team to ensure quality standards and attention to detail.
