Description
You will be at the forefront of using data to validate, improve, and shape the direction of a best-in-class platform for doing health research. The position requires a self-motivated engineer with strong technical and communication skills to handle responsibilities including:- Analyze large amounts of data to extract useful insights the organization needs.- Create reports for a variety of use cases.- Identify new analytic projects or enhancements to existing ones.- Update existing data model to better serve analysis needs.- Support data consumers by answering questions or providing guidance.- Influence the evolution of the data platform.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of industry experience.
  • SQL and data modeling skills.
  • Programming skills in one of Python, Scala, or Java.
  • BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark), data warehouses (e.g. Redshift, Snowflake), and modern orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Oozie).
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to work well with engineers, QA, data scientists, clinical staff, and others.
  • Analytical skills (including handling ambiguity and presenting results).
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
