In this role you will get to apply your FSI domain expertise, linking technology to tangible solutions and educating AWS FSI customers about the art of the possible. You will have the opportunity to define or invent cloud-native reference architectures tailored for FSI use cases. The Solutions Architecture team includes professionals with deep knowledge of the FSI industry. Practical knowledge of the AWS platform is desired but not required, provided you have a sound technical foundation and a desire to learn.You will have the support to grow your expertise in FSI-focused technology areas. Every day you will learn something new from your customers, your peers and your own experiments.Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)Key job responsibilities- Participate in the creation and sharing of FSI-focused best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts).- Contribute to the growth of the Solutions Architecture organization by interviewing candidates and having a voice in hiring decisions. You will also be helping others develop new skills by mentoring team members and identifying talent needs in the organization.

- 5+ years experience in the financial services industry
- Background in Cloud Architecture, Systems Design, Software Development, Infrastructure Architecture, Data Engineering or DevOps within FSI companies
- Technical Degree (Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or equivalent) and/or relevant tech experience.
- Experience in managing complex sales processes with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Business level written and verbal communication skills in English

- Experience designing, building, and operating large scale IT systems for major FSI companies - either on premises or in the cloud
- Working knowledge of cloud native architectures for FSI use cases
- Knowledge of FSI regulations, security requirements, and compliance standards
