Job responsibilities
  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Partners with respective payment Product, Operations, Technology and Credit Risk teams to understand the payment life cycle, specifically with respect to the funds control and credit risk identification and mitigation
  • Analyzes and creates informed view on As-Is vs To Be decisioning and governance across payment rails
  • Identifies and documents product risks such as credit / funds control risk for the Bank and the client
  • Aggregates data, risk analysis, payment flow documentation and visual presentation of critical payment flows to highlight points of failure and potential risk from a credit risk perspective
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
  • Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
  • Ability to work with big data sets, ingest and derive a meaningful analysis helping with strategic decisioning for the program
  • Ability to present the analysis to the senior stakeholders through power point and other visual tools to help with informed decisioning

  • Advanced organization skills, , self-motivated and ability to work in collaborative team environment
  • Advanced MS Excel and MS Powerpoint skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Developing understanding of CIB Payment flows and underlying risk factors
  • Prior experience of working on Projects involving multiple stakeholders and cross impacts
  • Prior experience of working on Control & Policy documentation
