Responds to emergencies, provides a situational assessment,and mitigation efforts. Assist in emergency planning of all GFTX facilities as well as confined space inventory, classification, and incident pre-planning
Provides verbal, written, and computer reports pertaining tocondition and care of patients at emergency scenes
Safely and efficiently operates emergency response vehicles. Support facility operations to minimize loss of production time
Support stakeholders with emergency action plans, emergencydrills, and emergency communication
Provide advanced life support while responding to variousmedical emergencies to include trauma, chemical exposure, or medicalemergencies
Responds to sitewide emergencies consistent with fire suppressionand rescue in accordance with established protocol
Provide technical rescue, confined space rescue standby,high and low angle rescue, trench rescue, and/or vehicle extrication
What You’ll Bring
Required - Firefighter 1 and 2 (IFSAC/Pro Board or TCFP)
Required - Current National Registry EMT-P or TDSHS EMT-P
Required - Valid driver's license required and able to operateassigned fleet
Rope Rescue, Confined Space, or Trench Rescue Preferred
Integrity, trustworthiness, and a strong work ethic
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaborate and work well with others and positive attitude
Physical Requirements:
Must be comfortable in confined spaces
Must be able to lift over 50lbs on a regular basis
Must be able to work in austere conditions
Must be able to pass respiratory requirements and operate ina SCBA mask for extended periods of time
Must complete medical baseline assessment and have theability to complete physically strenuous tasks associated with firesuppression, for extended periods of time
