What you'll do
- Lead strategic projects for the France Marketplace team , working across functions to assess, test, and scale new features and marketplace improvements.
- Scale Marketplace Products and Processes: Work as a bridge between EMEA Operations, cross-functional, and product teams to contribute to product requirement definitions, experimentation, launch, and scale-up of new products in France; perform analytics for ongoing optimization.
- Project Management and Execution: Manage projects related to marketplace products and processes by creating launch and expansion plans, aligning multiple stakeholders, tracking issues, conducting root-cause analyses, and tracking progress against goals.
- Analytics & Data-Driven Decision Making: Develop comprehensive, data-backed frameworks and models to drive marketplace decisions (such as investment and pricing) in the region and optimize overall marketplace efficiency.
- Stakeholder and Partner Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local operations , EMEA teams and other partners by providing valuable insights and contributing to their success.
- Main Thought Partner: Act as a key thought partner to the Head of Marketplace and Regional General Manager, providing insights and strategic recommendations to shape Uber’s future in France.
Basic Qualifications
- At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in driving revenue growth and customer experience improvements for a product or business area.
- Strong business acumen with a knack for identifying opportunities, weighing trade-offs, and executing on high-impact initiatives .
- Consistent track record of solving complex operational problems using data analysis , demonstrating the ability to break down ambiguous problems in a structured way and identify and synthesise the appropriate data to create insights that inform solutions.
- Advanced analytical skills , with experience using SQL, Excel/Google Sheets to extract insights and optimize decision-making.
- Proven project management skills , including execution, stakeholder alignment, and problem resolution .
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), with an ability to understand highly technical and complex mechanics and algorithms and then translate that information simply and effectively for a range of audiences.

- Entrepreneurial mindset , self-starter, and comfortable working in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment .
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, etc.).
- Experience managing multiple projects in a dynamic, high-growth environment .
- Strong track record of strategic planning and execution in localized markets .
