In this role, you will:
- Assist in the oversight of the Background Screening Team's daily screening activities and associated controls
- Produce, monitor, and enhance the Background Screening Team's reporting suite
- Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics
- Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
- Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations
- Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business
- Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business
- Provide work direction to lessexperienced backgroundscreening staff
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of experience with performing employment eligibility decisions of a criminal background screening program
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge of Criminal Court Laws, statutes and judicial system process
- 4+ years of experience and background in monitoring and/or performing analysis of a risk-based program
- Proven experience in meeting and exceeding established SLA's in an operational review and processing environment
- Advanced knowledge of the Fair Credit Reporting Act as it relates to background screening requirements
- Proven experience developing and implementing business specific reporting dashboards through various data visualization tools (i.e. PowerBI or Tableau)
- Experience partnering with Employee Relations, Legal, Human Resources and vendor personnel to address issues and obtain resolution
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
