Work set-
Your role:
• Assist in the conceptualization and development of an automated Maszara test system tailored to measure the bond strength of semiconductor wafers.
• Write and refine code for the control system, ensuring the automation of the procedure using relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, or Java).
• Collaborate with the team to design and integrate systems for handling and positioning wafers during testing.
• Develop solution for capturing sensor data and processing image and real time video feed to determine bond strength, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware and process engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of the software with the physical testing equipment, followed by rigorous testing and validation.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation of the automated system to meet industry standards and performance criteria.
• Create comprehensive documentation of the development process, including design specifications, code, and testing protocols.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize the integration and application for maximum performance.
You're the right fit if:
1. You are currently studying towards yourdegree in Computer Science, Industrial engineering, Mechatronics engineering, Mechanical engineering, Electrical and electronics, Applied Physics, Robotics, Automation or Control engineering.
2. Proficiency in Python and SQL.
3. Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
5. You have strong communication skills and you like to work in teams in a dynamic environment.
6. Nice to have:experience in designing and implementing automated testing systems, experience with Tableau and Tableau prep, knowledge of Git.

Next to that, we are offering a decent internship package:
Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level and if you would need to relocate to The Netherlands. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net.
Paid holidays per internship term.
The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop.
