In this role, you’ll work closely with our engineering teams to define Xbox Console release plans and ensure releases are completed on time to support delivery of organization commitments. You will leverage data to make release decisions, ensure release blocking issues are resolved in a timely manner, as well as communicate release status to multiple audiences. You will have direct exposure to leadership and the benefit of working with a great team of engineers and program managers who are equally committed to delivering innovative solutions for our customers.

You’ll be provided with an exciting opportunity to leverage your cross-group collaboration and project management skills while driving large Xbox platform releases. Schedule and prioritize work against multiple deadlines with many dependencies to ensure we release on time and at a high-quality bar. This role allows you to be methodical in an ambiguous and dynamic environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 1+ year(s) experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

    • OR equivalent experience.

  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • 1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • Software release management skills: understanding of release management best practices, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers and product managers
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle
  • Experience with Git, Azure, Jenkins or any other CI/CD Tools

Responsibilities
  • Efficient process skills, result driven, and attention to detail
  • Execute and evolve existing frameworks for release of Xbox products
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, design, and quality to ensure alignment and seamless execution
  • Highlight issues/risks and manage them through resolution to ensure on-time, at quality releases
  • Facilitate regular ship room meetings and own release tracking dashboards in Azure DevOps
  • Act as primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, key milestones, and changes in scope
