What You'll DoYou will:

As an advisor to the customer, you will perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers partners and prospects. You will drive identified major account opportunities (i.e. technical consulting, upper-level management presentations, and Cisco technology solutions) while allowing local account teams to maintain long-term ownership. You create collateral for internal and external audiences as well as industry publications (blogs, industry papers, presentations, and demos), to showcase the capabilities of our integrated products to meet customer requirements.

Minimum qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 6 years of technical sales or pre-sales experience
  • Minimum 4+ years with security specialization experience using Firewall (NGFW/IDS/IPS), Content Security (Email, Web, DNS Protection), Endpoint Protection (EPP), Threat Detection and Response (EDR), Access Control, Cloud Native Security, SIEM, or SOAR technologies
  • Successful quota achievement
  • Proven track record of managing and winning technical and high-value IT security projects
  • Experience in administering low-layer (packet-level) IP networking, and a thorough understanding of network security

Preferred qualifications:

  • An active TS security clearance, Public Trust, or the ability and willingness to obtain a US Government clearance is highly desired
  • BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent is highly preferred
  • Ability to articulate security architecture integrated with other technologies (cloud, networking, datacenter)
  • Desirable experience with Cisco security technologies, and administering Unix/Linux systems
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Unix Shell, Perl, or Powershell
  • Highly motivated self-starter who does not need day-to-day management
  • Solid presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Industry awareness and strong communication skills
