Your key responsibilities
- Keep up-to-date with VAT, customs, digital service tax, and other indirect tax legislations and provide consultancy to clients.
- Assist clients in understanding their indirect tax obligations and developing appropriate strategies to comply.
- Support clients in indirect tax obligations.
- Provide consultancy on customs procedures and international trade legislation.
- Guide clients on the taxation of digital services.
- Support clients during indirect tax and customs audits and examinations.
- Collaborate on projects within the team and across disciplines.
Skills and attributes for success
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields (Economics, Business Administration, Finance, International Trade and Logistics, etc.).
- Knowledgeable about indirect taxes or aiming to pursue a career in this area.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken).
- Knowledge in MS Office applications, especially in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Open to continuous learning and self-improvement.
- Willing to learn indirect tax and legislation and practices.
- Keen on digital transformation of indirect taxes.
- No restrictions for domestic and international travels.
- Preferably with 1-2 years of work experience in similar areas.
