Your key responsibilities

  • Providing legal support to national and multinational clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including but not limited to capital increases and decreases, mergers, spin-offs, and restructuring.
  • Attending clients’ general assembly and board meetings and assisting with daily corporate requests.
  • Overseeing M&A and due diligence projects and preparing closing documentation.
  • Drafting legal documents such as contracts, complex general assembly meeting minutes, board of directors’ resolutions, legal opinions, and reports.
  • Preparing and managing Corporate Secretarial Services, including Annual General Assembly meetings and Board of Directors resolutions.
  • Drafting and preparing various agreements in accordance with the Turkish Commercial Code and the Turkish Code of Obligations.
  • Coordinating global reorganization projects in collaboration with clients’ legal and tax advisors.
  • Conducting legal research on laws and regulations, including company policies and guidelines related to corporate compliance matters.
  • Communicating with clients to provide updates and collect necessary information.

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable Turkish University or from a Foreign University with equivalency in Türkiye (LL.M. degree is a plus),
  • 1-4 years of full-time experience as an in-house or law firm lawyer advising corporate clients,
  • Knowledge of the Turkish Commercial Code, Code of Obligations, and Labour Law, with practical experience in corporate governance, contract drafting, and labour law matters across various sectors,
  • Experience in corporate legal procedures, transactions, due diligence, and corporate secretarial services, including Annual General Assembly meetings and Board of Directors resolutions,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (both in Turkish and in English),
  • Ability to follow through on numerous projects simultaneously under tight deadlines,
  • Strong ability to research and follow up, attention to detail, analysis and reporting skills,
  • Ability to perform high performance under high pressure,
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information,
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Applications,
  • No restriction for travelling inside and outside of Türkiye,
  • Male candidates should have completed their military service.
