Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 1+ years experience in investment banking, venture capital, private equity, corporate development and strategy, and/or finance and analysis
    • OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in investment banking with direct mergers & acquisitions transaction experience
  • Venture, private equity, or strategic corporate investment experience or related technology investment experience.
  • Self-starters and have proficient financial skills, robust valuation expertise, and the ability to work independently in a rapidly changing business environment.
  • Personal integrity, initiative, exceptional judgment
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities

As a Corporate Development Analyst, you will play an integral role in charting the future direction of Microsoft and will participate in landscape-defining transactions. You will join an accomplished team of individuals with extensive M&A experience from leading investment banks, private equity firms, consulting firms and corporations. For any given deal, Corporate Development Analysts will lead valuation analysis and actively participate in deal structuring, negotiation strategy, and review of term sheets and definitive agreements. You will play a vital role in upfront idea generation, strategic evaluation and business planning, coordination of financial, tax and legal due diligence, and post-close integration planning. As a Corporate Development Analyst you will also interface with the investment banking, venture capital and startup communities.
