• Sourcing Techniques: Apply key skills around sourcing techniques to achieve cost-effective and high-quality supply.
• Supplier Benchmarking: Conduct supplier benchmarking to identify best practices and optimize sourcing activities.
• Demand Understanding: Understand demand and provide cost-effective and high-quality supply in line with stakeholder expectations.
• Documentation: Document sourcing activities in a structured and auditable way throughout the sourcing process.
• Support Significant Spending Decisions: Provide critical support for significant spending decisions, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve sourcing processes and outcomes.
• Support Federal Procurement organization, responsible for supporting internal and/or external clients.
• Act in compliance with all relevant IBM business conduct guidelines, Federal Acquistion Regulation and its supplements, operate under a CPSR approved business system, and client-driven procurement processes.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Experience with data analytics and/or data visualization tools (Microsoft Office suite).
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate professionally.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
• Basic knowledge and experience in procurement or supply chain.
• Experience in SAP Aribia or SAP Fieldglass.
