In this role, you will be responsible for managing efficient movement of material and goods - movement of raw materials to manufacturing sites and finished products from manufacturing sites and distribution centers to final delivery location. Plans distribution to fulfill the forecasted demand requirements while working with warehouse & logistics partners. Manages the reverse supply chain, and the processes and flow of products and materials for the purpose of Repair, Recycling, Reuse, Remedy/ and /or Resale.Responsibilities (responsibilities will include but are not limited to):
- Represent logistics org in the stand-up project meetings, actively participate and contribute to the success of the project.
- Manages, directs, and guides all aspects of logistics function to maximize the team’s performance. Manages people and projects to ensure optimal utilization of team resources.
- Strategically plans and manages logistics, reverse logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services to meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
- Drives execution of forward and reverse logistics operations to provide effective services and achieve deliveries within the assigned budgets.
- General understanding of ITAR, EAR, and other relevant export regulations.
- Experience with export licensing, classification, and compliance audits.
- Develops and monitors key metrics to assess performance and implement best practices.
- Drives the development of new standards, procedures, and best practices for the logistics department.
- Partners with the stakeholders to introduce breakthrough/innovative solutions, automate processes, and transform logistics operations.
- Works proactively with suppliers and customers to ensure continuous improvement and optimal production solutions for current and future distribution channels.
- Drives continuous improvement activities to maximize process and cost efficiency.
- Ensures attainment of department goals, and supports senior management to establish business goals, key performance indicators, supplier selection decisions and development initiatives for the department.
- Fosters solid relationships with stakeholders, business units and external logistics service providers to enable optimal business performance.
- Responsible for enabling teams to execute through clear goal setting, facilitating work, maintaining accountability, applying differentiated performance management, and driving team results.
- Drives results by inspiring people, role modelling Intel values, developing the capabilities of others, and ensuring a productive work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in supply chain operations, warehouse, export control and transportation management; with at least 15 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager.
- Preferably with semiconductor startup and project management experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven track record of resolving complex logistics challenges and improving operational efficiencies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics and supply chain management practices, including transportation modes, warehousing, and distribution.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to logistics and transportation.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with the ability to lead and develop a team of logistics professionals.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff.
- Proficient in standard logistics software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
- Experience managing projects related to logistics, particularly in transitioning or supporting company autonomy.
Preferred Qualifications:Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in logistics and inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS) and ERP systems.
Certifications (Optional):
- Certification(s) such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) would be an asset.
