What the Candidate Will Do
- Build and deploy our Uber brand for drivers, creating a pipeline of measurable initiatives to increase drivers engagement
- Deeply and constantly collaborate with cross functional teams (Ops and Comms amongst the key ones) to align marketing initiatives to business needs
- Constantly listen to drivers pain points and feedback, becoming a leading voice within Marketing and an influencing voice with cross functions as to what drivers feel/need
- Work with cross functional teams to create and execute effective engagement initiatives for drivers, to boost their commitment and preference towards Uber
- Focus on efficient, scalable, demand-generating marketing efforts that can be replicated in multiple cities/markets
- Based on Uber’s global marketing strategy, adapt, localize, and/or amplify initiatives to align with our regional strategy, taking into account local specifics and culture
- Identify uniquely local marketing opportunities aligned with business priorities (major events, partnerships, seasonal moments, etc) and deliver campaigns against them
- Provide general and Uber-specific state of the market assessments and report back with in-market feedback and insights.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or similar, and a demonstrated ability in quantitative fields
- Minimum 4+ years in consumer marketing or related experience with a successful record of delivering work with measurable business results on time and on budget.
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Curiosity and creativity. You’re full of fresh ideas to generate user growth and promote the brand.
- Bias for action and proactive approach to problem solving
- Structured and fast paced thinker, with strong executional excellence skills and attention to detail
- Good written communication skills
- A strong customer-centric mindset – you are always thinking about how our customers interact with the brand
