Your key responsibilities include but not limited to

  • Provide oversight for and management of the development and implementation of sustainable, repeatable, reliable, and cost-effective financial processes to meet emerging and future business requirements of the client
  • Lead proposals related to our offerings and take them successfully to clients
  • Headlining initiatives that guarantee superior service output and services to primary clients, ideally utilizing a hands-on approach acquired through direct experience in the business sector.
  • Creating / contributing to the creation of new services, tools, and materials to be more successful on the market
  • Achievement of ambitious targets for growth, utilization, and operational excellence and consistent implementation of EY policies and tools to enable these priorities while supporting the engagement of our people
  • Involvement in people initiatives including recruiting, retaining, and training professionals and act as a role model
  • Active participation in the creation and maintenance of an environment that enables the team to manage delivery effectively and achieve the highest quality
  • Maintain relationships with the client’s management to manage the expectations of service
  • Review existing accounting and financial controls and other legal compliance processes in place and make any necessary revisions or additions
  • Knowledge on how to formulate policies and procedures to improve operational controls, compliance, and efficiency
  • Reviews processes and records to see that accountants are operating in line with generally accepted accounting principles, laws, industry, and company standards
  • Experience in design, implementation, documentation, assessment and monitoring internal control framework
  • Communicates with other governmental agencies or legal professionals with insights into changing regulations, standard compliance practices and other changes that may impact the merit of current internal control policies
  • Conducts regular internal audits/reviews to assess compliance of departments/individual employees
  • Develop and conduct adequate training and prepare related information material on the internal control objectives, approach, and methodology to business partners on a regular basis to build knowledge and understanding of risks and control
  • Work collaboratively with business and process owners to implement and monitor remediation efforts that result from internal control assessments, ensuring effective implementation of corrective action
  • Deliver adequate and timely reporting on the operational control and control deficiencies to ensure appropriate communication, documentation, escalation to business partners, senior leadership, and audit committee.

  • IFRS Certification is a good to have
  • Confident & professional communication style
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written)
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
  • Capability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills for interpreting the IFRS standards

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • CA with 10+ years of work experience in Project and Team Management of which at least last 5 years in GDS / SSC set up
  • Strong Excel, Power BI/Query and PowerPoint skills is a must
  • Should be flexible to work on any shift

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Business Finance Transformation, GBS / SSC Setup
  • Project management skills
  • IFRS Implementation / IFRS Reporting Experience
  • Exposure to tools like ERP, HFM, Visio, ARIS, etc.
