Salesforce is looking for a passionate Mulesoft Account SE to join our dedicated and collaborative Solutions Engineering team in India. As a technology leader, you will be instrumental to MuleSoft’s growth in India, working with customers across industry segments in India.
- You will partner closely with Account Executives and multi-functional teams throughout the sales cycle to qualify sales opportunities with regards to customer technical requirements, competition, decision-making process and funding.
- You will drive the account level strategy and augment the multi-functional teams who run the tactical aspects of the sales cycle (demo, PoC, RFX, Customer Success, etc).
- You should be technically hands on and be able to independently complete Proof of Concepts, and create assets.
- Act as a trusted advisor to our strategic customers.
- Help customers understand the business value of APIs, how to take advantage of the API Economy, and how APIs are a critical enabler of business agility.
- Evangelize MuleSoft approach and technology with senior C-level executives and drive digital transformation
- Conduct technical architecture workshops: API Strategy, Domain-Driven Design, Microservices.
- Articulate MuleSoft's product strategy, roadmap and vision during executive briefings.
- Assist marketing team with building a point of view and our product team with strategic direction as needed.
- Role reports into India SE leader.
Requirements for the role:
- 12+ yrs total experience as a customer-facing technologist.
- Pre-Sales enterprise software experience, skills to establish trust with clients, and ability to influence key decision-makers in the sales cycle
- Hands-on experience with middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM.
- Strong architecture skills and Ability to lead architectural discussions.
- Knowledge of Mulesoft is a must. Mulesoft certification is a plus.
- Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
- Strategic thought process. Ability to empathize, educate, and lead with provocative points of view
- High Business acumen to help contextualize technology investment with overall digital strategy
- Experience evangelizing to CIOs/CTOs/Enterprise Architects
- The breadth of technology domain expertise and familiarity with the latest technology trends
- Ability to travel to customer locations. (25%-30%)
