As an intern, you’ll be expected to:

  • Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones
  • Communicate with the Legal team and other stakeholders to provide project updates
  • Proactively seek and provide feedback throughout the internship
  • Actively participate in, and contribute to, the Legal and broader Airbnb community

This opportunity is for Master of Laws (LLM) students and early career legal professionals with the following background:

  • Completed a law degree or functional equivalent
  • At least one of the following: completed privacy coursework OR earned an IAPP certification (or equivalent) OR have previous experience within the privacy space
  • Strong interest in learning about in-house legal practice, specifically privacy law
  • Strong interest in technology and artificial intelligence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Comfortable reaching out and initiating communication with various team members
  • Strong interpersonal skills and interest in building relationships and collaborating with teams within and outside of Legal
  • Adaptable and able to adjust plans and manage changes effectively
  • Able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to review and distill information from multiple sources into concise and pertinent legal memoranda
  • Fluent (written and spoken) in English with C1 level proficiency
  • Work authorization for employment in France, Ireland, Italy, Spain or the United Kingdom is required - visa sponsorship is unavailable
