What You’ll Do:
- Partner with talented engineers, product visionaries, and digital analysts to providing clean, transformed data ready for analysis of our eCommerce Website and Apps
- Work in a high-performance agile team environment – guiding planning, timelines, communication, and execution of parallel Data Instrumentation tracks supporting a variety of digital Products released on our eCommerce Website and Apps.
- Apply software engineering best practices (ex: version control, testing, continuous integration) to develop, enhance, and maintain clickstream data collection frameworks and pipelines using modern programming standards in JavaScript
- Guide strategies instrumentation considerations based on front-end framework and platform architecture (e.g. React frameworks, Web / Android / iOS architectures).
- Leverage tagging QA automation to improve data veracity, tagging QA efficiency, and reduce manual QA risks
- Analyze data using non-SQL Enterprise BI tools as well as SQL Based data frameworks
- Maintain extensive self-serve data documentation & definitions across the org
- Train business users on how to use non-SQL based BI data exploration tools (e.g. Adobe Workspace, D3 Data Visualization)
What You’ll Bring:
Mandatory Requirements:
- Demonstrate deep expertise in Analytics Engineering, including Data Instrumentation and Tagging QA leveraging industry standard platforms, tools, and tech. Hands on experience with end-to-end tagging instrumentation, collection, storage, and data transformation
- Core strength in Full-stack Web Development: JavaScript (ES5, ES6, ES2016 and latest versions of ECMA Script), HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS, NodeJS.
- Deep understanding of the Web and App frameworks and respective component lifecycles.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of multithreading, networking, offline storage, and performance tuning.
- Understand product lifecycle, functional requirements, and UX wireframes. Demonstrate strong ability to bridge understanding between business measurement needs and technical functionality both pre and post product development.
- Experienced in code review, approval, and deployment via industry CI/CD tools & frameworks.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills as well as a strong Team Player.
Great to have:
- 4+ years as an Analytics Engineering People Leader
- Deep knowledge of enterprise level data collection and reporting frameworks such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
- Experience with Tagging QA Automation frameworks such as ObservePoint
- Experience designing and maintaining data schemas for large scale data
- Experience managing sprint planning and running AGILE sprint cycles using industry tools such as JIRA
- Good knowledge of SQL and SQL-based data exploration
- Experience in developing D3 Data Visualization in Web based dashboards
- MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or similar STEM degree

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
