Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth analysis of data attributes related to core banking systems, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Develop a deep understanding of core banking data models, including customer, account, transaction, and product data.
- Design, develop, and maintain complex ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various core banking systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data definitions, data lineage, and data quality rules.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Design and develop interactive dashb
- oards and reports to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics, particularly in the core banking domain.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of data governance policies and procedures.
- Identify and troubleshoot data quality issues, working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new data analytics tools and technologies.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Experience in a data analytics role, with a strong focus on core banking data.
- Proven experience working with large and complex datasets, including data extraction, cleaning, transformation, and analysis.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and principles.
- Experience with ER modeling and data modeling tools.
- Knowledge of core banking platforms such as FLEXCUBE, Finacle, or FIS is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
