Test all WPS products, raw materials, and auxiliary materials according to existing regulations, and neatly and promptly forward all test results to the Supervisor of the Chemical Laboratory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The employee is informed about all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are part of the Quality Policy and are related to the job position covered by this job description.
Determination of silicone oil on the product using an IR spectrometer.
Chemical and physical testing of products according to EP/USP Pharmacopeia.
Testing of finished products and water according to the monitoring plan.
Testing of raw materials and auxiliary materials according to internal methods.
Testing of finished products according to internal methods.
Preparation of necessary solutions for testing.
Calibration of devices in the department (internal).
Entering test results into the computer.
Complying with all work regulations issued for and in the chemical laboratory.
Preparation of laboratory glassware according to regulations.
Filling out prescribed documentation.
Proper handling and maintenance of equipment and work tools.
Proper wearing of prescribed protective clothing and equipment (HTZ).
Maintaining the cleanliness of the workplace.
Performing other tasks related to quality assurance as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
Performing all duties in accordance with the company's health and safety procedures, as well as environmental protection and other applicable legal regulations.
Additional Responsibilities
Forwarding of test results.
In case of deviation of test results from some Specification requirements, initiate the Out of Specification (OOS) procedure and discuss with the Laboratory Supervisor (OOS = out of specification).
Keeping records of necessary consumables in the chemical laboratory.
Education
High School Diploma - Pharmaceutical or Chemical Technician
General health ability
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic knowledge of English or German.
Operational proficiency in computer use (Word, Excel, SAP).
Ability to organize time and determine priorities.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
Positive attitude and flexibility; accepts and supports changes.
Knowledge and application of all current procedures.
