As Global Director of Enterprise Functions Procurement you will excel in developing and nurturing effective relationships with executive and senior-level leadership in our Corporate organization. You will quickly establish yourself as a trusted business partner aligned on strategy realization.
You'll approach your role as a problem solver seeking opportunities to continually refine digital strategies and approaches, quantify and co-manage demand, participate in annual budgeting processes, monitor for cost growth, and contribute to effective corporate operations.
Demand Management:
• Collaborate with stakeholders during annual OpEx / CapEx planning.
• Provide guidance to stakeholders and Enterprise Functions team members in translating demand plans into strategic sourcing / procurement supply plans.
• Establish strategies and playbooks for stakeholder and category manager usage for integrated forecasting, budgeting, sourcing, contracting, invoicing, management and analysis of supplier labor resources across major professional services categories.
Procurement Strategies and Category Management
• Assure the alignment of category strategies to Jacobs’ business goals.
• For both Enterprise Functions and key direct / project-related categories, establish annual and long-term category strategies and execution plans.
• Continually monitor category management performance for value realization and implement when necessary recovery plans and actions.
• Lead initiatives to achieve total cost solutions for the end-to-end supply chain.
• Assure continuous improvement and innovation in both delivered category management support and in acquired goods / services.
Supplier Management
• Implement supplier relationship management processes for appropriate categories to elevate and sustain value realization.
• Implement and manage savings initiatives across the business.
• Ensure supplier competition, selection, and compliance processes meet approved quality and delivery standards.
• Leverage global contracts and negotiate favorable terms.
• Attract, develop, and retain top procurement talent.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Category Management team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration
• Set clear goals and KPIs for the team and ensure accountability for results
• Collaborate with and maintain the confidence of key stakeholders including Finance, Accounting, Tax, Legal, HR, Marketing and IT to ensure alignment and integration across the supply chain
Performance Management
• Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement corrective actions to address any inefficiencies or issues.
• Report on supply chain performance to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
Risk Management
• Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and environmental requirements related to supply chain operations.
• Minimum 15 years of Procurement experience
• Significant experience in managing procurement activities across Corporate / Indirect categories on a global scale, including drafting and formulating contracts, RFx development, negotiations, administering major purchase orders, contracts or subcontracts, and supplier relationship and performance management.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
• Master’s degree in Business, Law, Engineering, Supply Management or other applicable field.
