As a Business Intelligence Developer - Planning and Logistics, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making within our supply chain operations across the global network.


Responsibilities

  • Solution Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand BI requirements, translating them into effective and intuitive BI solutions that address the needs of the Planning and Logistics teams.

  • Data Modelling: Design and develop data models and structures that enable efficient data integration, transformation, and visualization, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy.

  • ETL Development: Build and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to extract data from various sources, transform it into usable formats, and load it into data warehouses or BI platforms.

  • Dashboard Creation: Develop interactive and user-friendly dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar, to provide insights into supply chain KPIs and operational performance.

  • Data Quality Assurance: Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for reporting and analysis.

  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of BI solutions, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, responsiveness, and user experience.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Global BI Lead, BI analysts, data engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business requirements and data strategies.

  • Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for developed BI solutions, including data mappings, ETL processes, data dictionaries, and technical specifications.

  • Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI solutions, assisting users in understanding data, resolving issues, and optimizing their use of BI tools.

  • Continuous Learning: Stay current with BI trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and ensure the organization's BI capabilities remain cutting-edge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

  • Experience in in BI development, data modelling, ETL processes, and data visualization, with a focus on supply chain planning and logistics.

  • Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar, and strong proficiency in ETL tools such as SQL, Python, or related technologies.

  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data integration, and data transformation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and quality.

  • Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or related industries is a plus.

  • Knowledge of supply chain processes, demand forecasting, and distribution logistics is desirable.
