We are looking for a Research Scientist to replace an employee who has accepted a new role. You will serve as an important link between Production, R&D and Regulatory Affairs.
Responsibilities
  • Test and document the stability of GE HealthCare products (shelf life and storage conditions).

  • Co-operate with the various analytical departments.

  • Where applicable participate in projects to develop new products, product variants and new packaging.

  • Where applicable participate in projects related to technology transfer between GE HealthCare’s manufacturing sites.

Required Qualifications
  • Higher level university degree (M. Sc. Chem. Eng./Chem./Pharm.) or equivalent

  • Works independently and seeks solutions.

  • Creates collaboration opportunities and proactively connects with others.

  • Contributes when working in cross functional groups and enjoys working with a global network.

  • Ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and fluently in both English and Norwegian at all levels.

  • Present and defend test strategies and reports to Regulatory Authorities.

  • Excellent team working skills and working with people across cultures and geographies.

Desired Skills
  • Experience from production of Pharmaceuticals or related Industry.

  • Ability to work on a strategic level as well as on a practical level.

  • Interest in technology to find best solutions for running and controlling a production process.

  • Experienced with Good Manufacturing Practice requirements.

  • Builds wide and effective networks of contacts inside and outside the organization.

  • Experience with developing pharmaceutical products will be beneficial.

  • Experienced in using statistical data analysis and modelling.

  • Willingness to train, mentor, coach others.

  • Ability to lead projects with 3-5 people.
