To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, engineering or a related discipline; an MBA or Master’s is a plus
- 2+ years of relevant experience in in financial services (e.g.,Consulting, Program/Project Management, Banking(Client Front Office, Underwriting, Portfolio Management, Credit Analysis, etc.), ratings agency, regulatory organization) or a graduate degree and approximately 1+ years of related work experience or a graduate degree and approximately 1+ years of related work experience
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing industry and deep content knowledge in the Credit Risk space
- Ability to travel – you will likely spend a significant amount of time on-site with our clients. This travel can be as much as 80% to 100% of a work week at times
- A willingness to operate under a hybrid work environment (typically 40 to 60% of the week in an EY office with your team when not on-site with a client)
Ideally, you’ll also have experience in:
- Strong understanding of the credit lifecycle (e.g., sales/origination, underwriting, fulfillment, servicing, loan accounting, monitoring, and default)
- Demonstrable experience working as part of a cross-functional or multi-disciplinary team
- Strong executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence peers and management
- Experience with process improvement or process optimization
- Foundational knowledge of regulations or supervisory guidelines impacting Credit Risk Management functions (e.g., OCC Heightened Standards)
- Foundational knowledge of Counterparty Credit Risk products (e.g., derivatives, repurchase agreements, securities lending, and prime brokerage/margin loans) and concepts (e.g., potential future exposure (PFE), settlement risk, wrong way risk (WWR), risk factor sensitivities, counterparty stress testing and capital)

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $90,600 to $149,600. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $108,700 to $170,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
