As Lead ServiceNow Engineer, you will be responsible to collaborate with the Product Owner to influence product strategy and roadmap, participate in Agile delivery routines as established by the Product Owner and Scrum Master, and develop technical designs to achieve desired business outcomes. You will also be responsible to develop and deliver features and functionality to address business requirements in alignment to ServiceNow development best practices, conduct peer reviews and testing of features to identify and address potential defects prior to release into production, conduct root cause analysis and address product defects, and provide deployment instructions and participate in deployment exercises.
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale software planning for the Technology area
- Design, develop, and run tooling to discover problems in data and applications and report the issues to engineering and product leadership
- Review and analyze complex software enhancement initiatives for business, operational or technical improvements that require in depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors
- Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted data engineering situations requiring understanding of software package options and programming language and compliance requirements that influence and lead Technology to meet deliverables and drive organizational change
- Strategically collaborate and consult with internal partners to resolve highly risky data engineering challenges
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Database Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of ServiceNow experience
- Must have the following ServiceNow certifications: (CSA) Certified Systems Administrator, and (CAD) Certified Application Developer
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Performance Analytics
- 2+ years of UI Builder with Workspace or Service Portal
- 3+ years of Agile experience
- Product strategy development experience
- Experience determining the root cause of identified issues
- Ability to perform statistical and performance analytics
- IT Infrastructure Library Certification (ITIL)
- ServiceNow certifications: (CIS) Certified Implementation Specialist

Pay Range
$96,600.00 - $171,800.00
