About the Role:

As an Associate Project Manager, you will lead new product development and other impactful projects on the Electrophysiology Project Management team. You will collaborate cross-functionally, cross-divisionally, and internationally to drive strategic projects that are critical to business growth and continuity. You will join a team of passionate individuals striving to improve patient care.

The projects will vary in size and scope but may include leading new product development, supporting technical and/or process improvements, as well as driving strategic and transformational changes that are needed at BSC. These projects often have a high level of visibility throughout the organization. This role interfaces with key cross-functional groups including research and development, marketing, clinical, medical safety, design quality, regulatory affairs, process development and operations to execute product development. Your success in this role requires creating a cohesive strategy for project execution, an effective project team culture, and driving execution to ensure project completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Effectively lead project teams ensuring good cross-functional communications and alignment to ensure timely completion of the project or task
  • Partner and collaborate with a variety of functions, regions, and business resources to achieve project objectives
  • Generate and implement project plans, communications, and schedules to assist with task prioritization and workload adjustments to maximize team potential
  • Manage project challenges including scope impact assessments and recommended solutions
  • Build team ownership and commitment to project plan and identify, manage, and communicate project risks
  • Interact with senior personnel on complex matters requiring coordination between organizations
  • Prepare and deliver project status updates to management
  • Document risk mitigation plans, decision logs, meeting minutes, project metrics, and other key communications
  • Ensure current BSC policies and practices are followed
  • Identify resources required for project activities, develop project budgets, identify VIPs, resource allocations and timelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Science, Engineering or Project Management
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Project management experience leading cross functional teams and managing project scope, schedule, and budget
  • Strong cross-functional communication, organization, influencing and problem-solving skills
  • Results-oriented and focused on delivering timely, accurate and premium execution
  • Comfortable communicating/presenting in front of all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications

Preferred qualifications and competencies:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of product development process.
  • Experience in the medical device industry
  • Experience working with external vendors on initial prototyping and initial development is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve day to day project challenges with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and motivate others in a matrixed organization
  • PMP® certification

The anticipated annualized base amount or range for this full time position will be$ to $, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at www.bscbenefitsconnect.com. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
