Key Responsibilities:
Partner with Principal Learning Consultants to own the design for specific programs and stand-alone offerings that support the learning & performance needs of associates in the Product Management job family at Capital One
Complement the needs analysis process by identifying the additional context that will help to ensure successful transfer of skills to the job
Increase the effectiveness of learning solutions by identifying and recommending format/modalities that create an optimal learning experience and demonstrate an understanding of adult learning principles
Working with SMEs, design and develop curriculum, programs, learning materials, and performance support tools (including self-study, classroom, e-Learning, etc.) based on industry design standards for a given modality (includes traditional, web, and mobile design)
Demonstrate an aptitude for, knowledge of, and agility with new learning technologies
Represent the Product College Learning Consulting & Design team in broader project efforts, ensuring that the end-to-end of the learning experience is considered alongside project timeline goals
Engage with project team members to enable clarity of goal; conduct on-going reviews to ensure outcome is on track to meet client needs
Partner with other Instructional Designers and Learning Consultants on the team to support the ADDIE process, as appropriate
Create evidence-based assessments and evaluation methods
Assume personal responsibility for projects and follow-through to completion with minimal need for direct supervision

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
At least 2 years of experience in Instructional Design
At least 2 years of experience with learning content development tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Design Suite, and Camtasia)
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 3 years of Instructional Design for digital modalities
At least one year of experience in UI/UX and graphic design
At least one year of experience with mobile content creation, curation and delivery
At least one year of experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and video editing software)
