As a Finance Operations Specialist within the Procure-to-Pay in Regional Payment Team you will be responsible for the timely and accurate fulfillment of various tasks in the area of processing different types of payments.


Day to day tasks include:

  • Ensure all payment activities and country specific processes according to GFSS standards are processed independently and with high quality of operations.
  • Participate in moderately complex projects and testing with regional focus related to the payment process. Contribute to the targets within assigned projects and add value by ensuring efficiency.
  • Strongly engage into the work on procedures, policies with the Team Specialists as well as Subject Matter Experts and Process Manager. Drive standardization and simplification of payment related operations and deliver efficiency and quality improvements.
  • Ensure that the operated processes and the internal controls are SOX compliant, both tax and legally compliant for the region in scope. Work on improvement of the payment related reports for both internal and external purposes.
  • Regularly work on updating Global Payment Process Handbook in cooperation with Team Specialists.
  • Serve as a contact point and buddy for less experienced colleagues within the team by supporting with the knowledge sharing and guidance.
  • Deliver expertise sharing about the payment process (internal trainings, small workshops within GFSS, i.e. E2E, Advance payment, Payment for newcomers).


We are looking for candidates who can deliver very accurate and high-quality work and taking ownership and accountability. Strong communication skills, positive approach, and can-do attitude. Proactively engaging yourself to learn, improve processes and find a solution to prevent issues. Good written and spoken English is required. Previous finance experience with the processing different types of outgoing payments. Business or accounting education is an advantage.
