Job Responsibilities
- Serve as trusted advisor to GIB Co-Heads and GIB Executive Committee
- Orchestrate GIB financial activities including planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, investment ROI, expense management and business reviews
- Analyze and interpret financial performance to identify opportunities
- Drive implementation of strategic initiatives
- Lead and develop the GIB BM team and talent base, with a focus on improving diversity and future-proofing skills
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders including GIB Executive Committee, F&BM executives and firmwide partners
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Experience as a senior Business Manager, CFO, COO or similarly relevant role with 15+ years of work experience (5+ years at Managing Director or equivalent level)
- Financial services industry experience specifically within Investment Banking
- In-depth knowledge of Financial, Accounting, corporate financial law and risk management practices
- Strong EQ, and proven experience building, leading and mentoring global, diverse teams
- Experience managing large scale projects and interacting with people across all levels of the organization
- Able to prioritize and multitask well under pressure
- Able to analyze large data sets and present conclusions concisely
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and executive-level communication skills
- Excellent judgment, conflict resolution skills and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership traits
- Comfortable with ambiguity, adapts to change and navigates large organizations with confidence
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- MBA, CFA or advanced Finance/Accounting degree preferable
