What to Expect

TeslaService Trainer position requires someone with exceptional ability to assessneeds, develop & deliver learning solutions for a wide range of skills,abilities, and experiences, develop, and maintain strong partnerships withinternal and external partners. Individuals must be exceptional classroom facilitators,creative, proactive, organized, flexible, result-oriented, and have a passionfor teaching. others about electric vehicles. Must have outstandingcommunication, people management, and organizational skills while demonstratinga positive and professional demeanor.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop site-specific learning plans to ensure the requirements of bothTesla and academic partners are met for all employees
  • Develop and deliver technical learning solutions that equip serviceemployees to perform roles safety and to Tesla standards
  • Teach and facilitate participant learning of all OJT curriculum with aneye for continuous process improvement
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to new team members, alumni, andrecruits to ensure the Tesla Service mindset is modeled and defectively appliedacross the program
  • Provide service-specific training to Tesla Motors’ service staff onelectric vehicles equipped with complex automotive/electromechanical systems
  • Serve as a functioning member of the APAC L&D team
  • Collaborate with the training team and service manager to validate theskills and expertise of service employees
  • Maintain expert knowledge of problem solving and customer experience asapplied within Tesla service environment
  • Develop a new technical training curriculum in close consultation with alltechnical relevant teams
  • Manage the operations of the training team, including, but not limited totraining vehicle maintenance, tool and equipment maintenance, scheduling,communications, safety, etc
What You’ll Bring
  • Equipped with automotive technology or theequivalent in experience and evidence of exceptional ability
  • Demonstrated ability to both teach and coach as ameans to facilitate others’ learning
  • Teaching and people management experience arestrongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex problem-solvingactivities and initiatives
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal communicationskills are required
  • Strong automotive system repair knowledge andtraining experience
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawingsand electrical schematics
  • Ability to be proactive, flexible, confident,professional, self-motivated, and self-directed in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly skilled with common workplace and databasesoftware (Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
