Our Global Procurement team includes more than 300 people working across 31 countries. We are responsible for sourcing across four categories of spend:
- Real Estate (including Workplace Services and Real Estate Technology and Innovation)
- Talent Procurement (including Brand, Marketing and Communications)
- Technology Sourcing & External Data
- Travel, Meetings & Events
Given the ever-changing security requirements and complexities of our environment, we require a strategic leader to manage the technology sourcing demands of our Information Security team. This role requires you to work closely with all levels of the organization and have strategic discussions with senior members of our stakeholder community. You will be responsible for sourcing execution, customer experience and vendor management in line with the Global Procurement Policy across this function.
Your key responsibilities
The Technology Sourcing Manager must operate at a strategic level on a global basis, as a trusted advisor with a high degree of professionalism, market knowledge and capable of implementing best of breed procurement practices.
- Act as an individual contributor, managing multiple complex transactions directly or indirectly
- Proactively engage and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment
- Negotiate software licensing, cloud-based solutions, and professional services contracts
- Successfully execute global and regional deals in timely manner, while mitigating risk to firm
- Lead complex deals and RFx, conduct market analysis and benchmarking across functional area
- Manage key supplier relationships and provide recommendations to InfoSec leadership
- Maintain a good working knowledge of current trends and best practices in security industry
- Pro-actively manage contract and license renewals

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Minimum of 10 years of strategic sourcing experience in the technology field
- In depth understanding of software, SaaS and hosted solutions
- Extensive experience leading negotiations on global deals, including commercial terms and SLAs
- Experience in a cross-border role, successfully managing multiple complex projects at a global level
- Stakeholder management at CTO or CIO level in their previous role
Ideally, you’ll also have
- High level of influencing and networking skills
- Ability to challenge views/perspectives while securing buy-in within procurement and beyond
- Working knowledge of Information Security industry, key suppliers and positioning in the market
- Business degree or equivalent qualifications such as CPSM certification
