Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
    • OR Master's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
    • OR Doctorate in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas, simplify and formalize complex ideas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant internship or prior work experience, e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research, working with maps data.
Responsibilities
  • Driving projects from design through implementation, experimentation and finally shipping to our users.
  • Identifying, understanding preprocessing data used in deriving user insights and training large scale models.
  • Own end-to-end development of state-of-the-art machine learning, deep learning algorithms and techniques leveraging the data (i.e. text, location map search data, and routing road network data) for analyzing and building, debugging and supporting world-class search and information retrieval products.
  • Prototype, design and develop fundamental technologies and drive the analysis and applied research to enable better search experiences for consumers and enterprise alike.
