  • Creates solutions for complex and multi-faceted problems, which requires ingenuity, creativity, innovation, and strong analytical skills.

  • Adjusts sales strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions for assigned keymarket segments,customersand applications.

  • Influences external decision makers at the highest account level.

  • Builds strong customer relationships and leads negotiations of major contracts.

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise

(at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.

  • Five (5) years of combined experience workingsales and/or marketingin a private, public, government or military environment.

  • Current, valid Driver’s License.

  • Expert/master knowledge and experience with key account management and channel sales/marketing in a private, public, government or military environment

  • Possess broad knowledge of multiple related disciplines. Comprehensive knowledge of 3M’s global strategy, business areas, structure, and organization, as well as of the external market (competitors, trends, etc.)

  • Proven experience working withcross-functional senior leaders.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing point of sales information to recommend promotional growth programs to a channel partner.
