As a Cash Equity Sales Associate within the Cash Equity Sales team, you will contribute significantly to a rapidly expanding desk alongside high-performing sales professionals and an expanding client base. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting senior team members in marketing existing Equity products.
Job Responsibilities

  • Assist senior members of the team with marketing of existing Equity products
  • Be pivotal in account management with understanding of clients org and serving/monitoring their needs
  • Support senior members of the team to cover asset managers and financial institutions
  • Develop and pitch solutions that fit the needs of our clients
  • Work closely across our equity business to deliver the whole firm to clients
  • Focus on stock ideas and on enhancing the existing client relationship

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Significant experience in cash equity sales
  • You demonstrate interest or experience in a cash equity-based roles and products;
  • You understand stock valuation and can understand its interaction with market moves and economics;
  • You bring IT skills with a primary focus on Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint and Bloomberg; but coding and machine learning based efficiency tools helpful.
  • Your excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, can engage and influence partners and stakeholders;
  • You are good at communicating concepts and ideas, also via documentation, and you are keen to defend their validity and tailor messages to different audiences;
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment of real-time Market pressures and easily remain focused on client needs;
  • You’re attentive to detail and easily adaptable.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • CFA Certification
  • FCA Registration

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
