This role will report to the Senior Accountant (located in Ljubljana, Slovenia), with a dotted line to the Director of Finance located in Gurgaon.A day in the life
- Perform cash applications from bank receipts to customer invoices in NetSuite on a daily basis, applying deposits and allocating payments accurately.
- Perform billing runs for timely and accurate invoicing, handling billing amendments through out the month, and addressing discrepancies to ensure smooth payment.
- Post accounts payable transactions for Publisher, ensuring Publisher expenses are accounted appropriately and up-to date records are maintained.
- Assist in the creation of customers in NetSuite (ERP), ensuring alignment with Salesforce (CRM) records.
- Prepare and distribute 1099 forms for Publishers annually, ensuring compliance with Tax regulations.
- Performing bank reconciliations, AP reconciliations, AR reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Handling customers prepayment requests, customer creation in NetSuite and sharing sales orders to the Outbrain Sales team.
- Co-ordinate with the Sales team for monthly billing cycle and send invoices out to customers via NetSuite.
- Collaborate with Internal Sales, AMs, Finance, Legal and other teams in order to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assisting with annual audits and putting effective controls in place in line with SOX.
- Assisting Management in supporting other ad-hoc projects and financial reporting.
Desired Skills and ExperienceA solid background of 6 to 8 years’ experience in roles involving Accounts Receivable, Cash Apps, Account Payables, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Bachelors (B. Com)/or Master’s in accounting (M.Com)
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly under pressure to meet deadlines
- Flexibility within a constantly changing environment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to cooperate and collaborate effectively with team members
