As a Program Manager, you will:

  • Project manage complex projects in multinational Enterprise & Service provider environments.
  • Effectively meet the business objectives, compliancy requirements and targets assigned from the PS Management.
  • Effectively manage the project portfolio to meet financial targets including revenue recognition and margin requirements.
  • Develop a quick and clear understanding of the customer requirements through project scoping.
  • Excellent resource scheduling skills taking into account consultant specialties & expertise levels within the team as well as the time constraints to deliver to the expected level of service.
  • Meet revenue and billable utilisation targets for the region.
  • Set clear project planning & project objectives.
  • Work effectively with different internal and external stakeholders to manage expectations, communicate timely, provide necessary insights, and handle first level of escalation, where required.
  • Evaluate project progress with a focus on the customer experience, service excellence and ownership for resolving customer issues where required.
  • Have the ability to evaluate project risk with good risk management planning through project controls & internal discussion with the Professional Services management team.
  • Be able to read and understand contracts to identify the implications of the terms from a PS perspective.
  • Provide advice and be the initial point of escalation for assigned PS projects within the team and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
  • Have experience in using Project Management tools such as ChangePoint or other such systems to measure PS KPIs & performance.
  • Have excellent project reporting, communication & presentation skills.
  • Have the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and managing & prioritizing tasks to ensure project efficiency.
  • Assure a high quality of documentation and act as a point of QA for any project documentation.
  • Stay up to date on new product developments & technologies, providing input and operational direction to the PS team on supporting such technologies.
  • Review and action on customer satisfaction surveys.
  • Effectively communicate relevant project information to Fortinet management as appropriate.
  • Utilize communication and conflict resolution skills to independently address and resolve interpersonal conflicts and issues.
  • Encourage open communication between team members, suggesting and driving forward ideas about how the team can work more effectively together.
  • Participate in and contribute to various internal initiatives, including process improvement.
  • Review priorities and take appropriate action to ensure results are achieved.
  • Follow up with customer and internal Fortinet departments to ensure project documentation is completed:

– Creation/Review of Statement of Work document.

– Acknowledgement of work performed including work complete signing.

– Customer satisfaction surveys.

  • Complete and submit any required administrative tasks in a timely manner (timesheets, activities report, project reports, etc.).

  • 8 - 10 years background in complex Enterprise/Service Provider technical project management preferably in the network & security field.
  • International PMO experience in a multinational system integrator is highly beneficial.
  • Be able to work in the ANZ time zone.
  • Team player and ability to work remotely & interact with remote teams & employees.
  • Expertise in MS office suite, using applications such as Excel, Power Point, Word, Visio & Project.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and remain focused on the tasks in hand.
  • Data analytical skills, ability to interpret data and take actions based on it.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of the cybersecurity threat landscape.
  • Able to juggle priorities to meet deadlines, whilst ensuring quality standards.
  • Follow up on and take responsibility for unresolved issues or escalations.
  • Experience of driving change initiatives in a PS environment.
  • Able to develop effective relationships internally at a variety of levels and work closely with sales, pre-sales engineering, TAC, Advanced Support, management, etc.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience improving and developing the knowledge & skills of others.
  • Be an outcome-oriented go-getter.
  • Self-organised and meticulous in their work.
  • Ability to work according to customer’s schedules which may include weekends/evenings.
  • A background in network security project management.
  • Ability to travel internationally, if needed.
  • Fluent English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
