Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and implement a comprehensive DevOps strategy emphasizing automation and deployment pipelines.
- Lead the DevOps team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track and improve DevOps performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to align DevOps practices with business goals.
Automation and Deployment
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Implement automated testing strategies to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Optimize deployment processes to reduce downtime and increase deployment frequency.
Infrastructure and Operations
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise environments.
- Ensure system availability, scalability, and security through proactive monitoring and management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues in a timely manner.
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into their workflows.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on DevOps tools and processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders on DevOps initiatives and progress.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
- 5+ years of leadership experience.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Experience with DevSecOps principles and practices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of security and compliance requirements, including FedRAMP and SOC2.
- Experience with observability tools and practices.
- Familiarity with MLOps concepts and tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
