In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Develops, maintains and improves relations with existing and potential customers in the assigned district/area.
  • Creates the yearly sales plan, with help of sales management, to set targets and to plan actions and MarCom deliverables.
  • Creates, together with the internal order desk, of optimal offers to the accounts. Initializes customer tailored sales actions and supporting national sales actions.
  • Monitors the quality of the realization of the actions, improves contact between the internal service and the customers to get a good result of the actions.
  • Presents and explains the local product portfolio and supports the national promotions. Reports regularly on sales results and expectations, market and competition and trends to inform about the situation.

You are responsible for

  • Receiving assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
  • Providing guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
  • Recommending changes to sales policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
  • Working on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
  • Following processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Acting as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
  • Developing and administering schedules, performance requirements; mostly has budget responsibilities.
  • Frequently interacting with subordinate supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas or customers.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with > 8 years of sales experience in medical device industry;
  • Good business acumen, sensitivity to the dynamics in market place with good record of accomplishment.
