a dedicated and skilledAssociate Water & Wastewater Engineer (Civil)fast-growing Water Infrastructureteam in the ANZ region.You will play a crucial part inplanning, design,project delivery, design management, and project management, while alsoin positioning and winning projects across a range of services.

This is an opportunity to join a dedicated and high-performing team of water professionals to deliver a range of significant projects for both public and private sector clients both locally and nationally.

We have a diverse base of water clients across the region and this role will contribute to setting and implementing strategy and capability for this client base, with support fromour global technical experts.

Responsibilities:

The Associate Water & Wastewater Engineeris responsible forproviding consultancy, engineering services, technicaland direction in design in the ANZ region. The role will work alongside the Principal Engineerstaking a lead role withdesign andproject delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver technically excellent designs and consultancy services.

Lead project delivery on cost and time, ensuring client satisfaction.

Represent the team at client meetings and events.

Develop design management functions on projects.

Maintain compliance with Jacobs’ QA procedures, including the deliverables review QA process.

Here's what you'll need

  • engineeringsolutionswith outstanding technical and commercial resultsacross the water sector including storage, conveyance, treatment (water and wastewater) andemerging technologies.
  • Support leaders of the water and wastewater team in team development and growth, building design capability, and growing the section portfolio.
  • Actively mentor juniorteam membersand manage workload distribution withintasks.
  • Fosterclient relationships and technical leadership.

Your Expertise:

  • roficient inwater and/or wastewater treatment and/or conveyance infrastructure, fromplanningtocommissioning.
  • In the region of8+years’experiencein water and wastewater infrastructure design, with the ability to work with and coordinate multiple engineering disciplines,including those with some memberslocatedthroughout Australia or internationally.
  • Extensiveknowledge ofsafety in designandrelevantindustrycodes and standardsrelevant to the Australian water industry.
  • Demonstrated experience onmulti-disciplinary projects,including participationin and facilitation ofstandard design meetings and workshops (progress design meetings,safety indesign meetingsand workshops etc).
  • Ability to drive team excellenceand delivery ofqualitysolutions that meet client expectations.
  • Technical specialistwithin cross-disciplinaryknowledge and application.
  • Ability tomentorandguidejuniorteam membersin their own technical development.
  • Able tofoster strong cross-disciplinaryrelationshipswithin Jacobs andourpartners.
  • Experience with managinginternal processes, including periodic reporting on project progress,financialsandqualitysystems.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications incivilengineeringor equivalent.
  • Extensive water and wastewatercivilinfrastructuredesignexperience.
  • In-depth knowledge of water industry standards, codes, and best practices,as well as a diverse understanding of the impact of construction/maintenance practicalities on design.
  • Excellenttask,designand projectmanagement, as well asclient relationship skills.
  • Outstandingtechnicalcommunication and report writing abilities.
